I want to thank these two girls for being some of my very first senior models. I was so new to the whole thing and really appreciate them helping me out and allowing me to learn and practice on them! You could tell Katelyn & Rosie are a riot; they were laughing and joking the whole time. An absolute to work with. Here are a few shots from their session back in April.
A few words about Rose? AHHHHmazing. Talented. Gorgeous. Smart. Athletic. Model.
We met in Plymouth and instantly I felt like I’ve known her for years. She was so easy to talk to, super friendly, and I didn’t even have to direct her posing. She was totally spot on.
It was easy photographing her and you’ll be able to see it in these sneak peeks.
During our session, we were stopped by a New York photographer named Ryan Duffy who was interested in my work and her modeling. How cool!
I always tell myself to try something new. I’m still discovering what makes my heart flutter when I photograph it. I’m still finding my niche. I’m still full of ideas and things I want to accomplish, like, yesterday. So I figured, I shoot outdoors in the greenery all the time. Let’s try something different. Let’s shoot in a quaint little downtown area. And guess what? I LOVE IT!
Working with these three sisters was fantastic. Even with crazy hectic schedules they were able to get together and model for me… and just in time for a Mother’s Day surprise!
Not to mention, it was my first set of female twins and I was super pumped. I know, corny, but still. I love when twins don’t necessarily look identical. I love the individualism of each one. I love my job. I love what I do. And these girls made me love trying new things.
Here are a few of my favorite images:
It’s always been a dream of mine to photograph a ballerina. Always. Maybe it’s because I never had the talent or coordination to be one myself, but there is just something mesmerizing about how graceful they are.
So when I had the opportunity to work in-studio with a fellow local photog, Kelton Kaye, I jumped on it of course! At the time, I didn’t know I was going to be working with a prima ballerina, but boy oh boy was I excited when she walked in!
Maddy and her mom were so wonderful. I seriously can’t say enough nice things about them. So, I’ll just show you a few of my favorite shots from their session. =)
When I first saw her in her tutu and pointe shoes, I envisioned an entire black & white series, but then when I uploaded them for retouching, I realized I loved the color just as much, so I did both.
I had a lovely time and can’t wait for her to see her complete collection of images!
Lindsey is a super star. She runs track and has such a sweet smile. I am so glad I was able to work with her and explore Nankin Mill for the first time ever. PS. LOVE IT THERE! Her beautiful personality shines from the inside out. It was such a pleasure to meet her and her mom and I know she will go far in life!
Another one of my gorgeous senior models! I know, I’m so lucky!!! =)
For starters, Charlie was fantasic to work with. She was so natural in front of the camera and is also interested in photography! Not to mention a crazy good basketball player, from what her coach seems to tell me. Of course we had to add a few shots with a ball.
And because she was willing to head anywhere my imagination led us, we stopped at random trucking places, walls, and even a beaten path. I can’t wait to work with her again!
If you like to have fun and enjoy being in front of the camera, you NEED to check this out!

It was freezing outside. Literally, below 32* and yet she was still excited for her session. Yep, that would be Sandra!
We have been planning this for what seems like forever, and I’m so glad we still shot in the chilly weather. By the photos, you’d have no idea it was so cold.
I can’t wait until my next session with Sandra (and her friends!)
